St. Marys Carbon Company manufactures a wide range of automotive brushes for both OEM and aftermarket applications. Fractional Horsepower Brushes

A fractional horsepower brush is generally defined as having a cross section area of 0.250 square inches or less. The application of these brushes spans an ever increasing array of products. From power tools to kitchen appliances, battery operated motor driven devices to toys, the use of fractional horsepower brushes increases as new products are introduced.

 

Industrial Brushes

The entire line of St. Marys Carbon materials (carbon graphite, metal graphite, electrographite, and resin bonded graphite) are used for industrial brushes. Some of the applications include: elevators, transportation systems, traction motors, plating equipment, material handling equipment and paper mill applications.

 

Electrical Contacts and Current Collector Shoes

Based on the type of material and the configuration, many contacts can be molded to size.
